ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born and raised in Pinar Del Río, Cuba and now living in the United States of America, Noybel Gorgoy is a gifted Artist, Musician, Singer-Songwriter, and Entertainer.
Noybel’s style is a unique blend of her Cuban and classical roots, with Latin Music, R&B, Jazz, Funk, Soul and more. Her music contains a powerful, loving, and inspiring message. She has a track record of countless performances, touring around the world on grandeur platforms.
Her passion for music led her into the School of Arts in Pinar de Río Cuba. She started her journey through classical music at the age of seven studying classical piano, graduating later from the National School of Music in Habana in Theory of music.
Noybel toured nationally and internationally as one of the lead vocalists of the band Azúcar Negra. She also toured internationally as one of the lead vocalists of Azúcar Band as part of the production show called Lady Salsa, performing in prestigious theaters around Europe.
In 2004, Noybel arrived in the United States of America and became a cast member of the production “Havana Night Show”. A Cuban phenomenon presented to Las Vegas by international magicians and entertainers Siegfried and Roy, delivering performances at the Seminole Hard Rock Arena in Miami and at the Stardust Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, a production show residency.
She has been featured alongside Paul Shaffer at the iconic Caesar Palace in Las Vegas and at the production show Between the Lines with Clint Holmes. Gorgoy has been featured as the lead vocalist of the gypsy jazz band The Hot Club of Las Vegas.
In 2019 she released her song "Mi Niño" as the soundtrack for the award-winning independent short film called "Burro" directed and written by Michael Forsch and Zak Fin, getting a nomination at the 2019 Action on Film Festival for best soundtrack.
Noybel hosted “Miss El Tiempo Nevada” in 2017 and 2018 pageant, powered by the “Las Vegas Review-Journal” and the “Southern Nevada's Largest Hispanic Newspaper, El Tiempo.
Noybel has performed with Jerry Lopez, Santa Fe & The Fat City Horns, Soul in the Machine, The Young Artists Orchestra of Las Vegas directed by Yunior Lopez, Martin Nievera, Lani Misalucha, Michito Sanchez and his Salsa Orchestra, Alvaro Torres, David Perrico Pop Strings Orchestra and The Raider’s House Band at Allegiant Stadium directed by David Perrico at the Pre - Season Game to name a few.
In 2021 Noybel was part of the TV Show on Fox TV called “I can see your voice” as the makeup artist.
In 2022 Noybel was invited to share her art at Sofar Sounds Miami.
